JAMSHEDPUR – In Week 21 of the Jamshedpur Golden Baby League, the Loyola Soccer Army team, representing Loyola School, was bested 0-1 by the JPS Juniors squad of Jamshedpur Public School in the Under-9 category.
The Jamshedpur Golden Baby League 2023, now in its second edition, is designed to cater to children across the city, with categories spanning Under-5, Under-7, Under-9, Under-11, and Under-13.
This league is facilitated by Jamshedpur FC, in collaboration with the Jharkhand Football Association (JFA), Jharkhand Sporting Association (JSA), and the support of Reliance Foundation.
To further foster growth in grassroots football, a 10-month competition is organised every Sunday at the Archery field of the JRD Tata Sports Complex. This supplements the existing grassroots schools programme operated by Jamshedpur FC throughout the week after school.
