Textile Dealer From Punjab Found Dead in Jugsalai Rahul Lodge

Mahindra Kumar Poddar, a 75-year-old textile dealer from Punjab, was found dead in room 7 of the Jugsalai Rahul Lodge, located under Jugsalai police station area.

JAMSHEDPUR – Punjabi textile dealer Mahindra Kumar Poddar, 75, was discovered dead in room 7 of the Jugsalai Rahul Lodge, which is located near the Jugsalai police station.

The police found the body on Sunday, with the deceased found dead in the bathroom’s toilet.

To retrieve the body, the officers had to force open the room’s door.

It has been kept at the MGM Hospital’s morgue.

The police reported that the deceased’s family, who are from Punjab, are on their way to the city.

A post-mortem examination will be conducted on the deceased’s body after the arrival of the family.

The hotel had been hosting the textile merchant for about six to seven days, as he was in the city for business purposes.

According to the police, the post-mortem report will confirm the precise cause of death, but it is suspected that he may have died of a heart attack.

Mahendra Kumar Poddar was discovered in the toilet of the bathroom.

Hotel staff alerted the police after noting that his room door had not been opened for a significant period.

The case is currently being investigated by the police.
