Missing Ranchi Man Found Dead, Foul Play Suspected

A Ranchi youth, reported missing three days ago, body found in bushes near hospital.

The body of a missing Ranchi man was discovered in the Sadar area of the capital after he had been missing for three days. Family members had been actively searching for him since his disappearance a day before Holi.

RANCHI – The missing youth’s badly decomposed body was recovered from bushes near a hospital in the Sadar police station area of Ranchi on Thursday morning.

Local residents alerted authorities after noticing a foul smell emanating from the bushes and discovering the body.

Initial investigations indicate that the missing Ranchi man may have been dead for three days. Police believe his death was a result of foul play. missing Ranchi man resided in the Pani Tanki area of Booti Mod, PHD Colony, Ranchi.

Sadar police, including police station in-charge Kuldeep, are investigating the case as a potential murder.

They are retracing the youth’s movements leading up to his disappearance, determining who he might have met before leaving his home.

The Sadar police station in charge said that the body has been sent to RIMS for post-mortem. It is being investigated with which of his friends he had gone out of the house.

The family members have also been informed about the matter.

The family members were also told that if they have any suspicion on anyone, they should tell his name so that the investigation can proceed.

Authorities are also exploring the possibility that a dispute while eating could have led to the missing Ranchi man’s murder, after which his body was hidden in the bushes. The police are thoroughly investigating all angles of the case.
