Late Night Shooting at Extreme Bar Leaves One Dead in Jharkhand’s Capital

In a shocking incident, criminals opened fire at Extreme Bar in Ranchi’s Chutia police station area, killing DJ Sandeep Pramanik, a resident of West Bengal.

RANCHI – In the early hours of Sunday, a group of criminals unleashed gunfire in the vicinity of Chutia police station in Ranchi before making a swift getaway.

The incident took place at Extreme Bar, where the assailants identified DJ Sandeep Pramanik, also known as Sandy, at the entrance and shot him.

Following the shooting of Pramanik, the attackers proceeded to enter the bar and continued to discharge their firearms.

In the morning, the police arrived at the scene and were able to identify the suspects by reviewing the CCTV footage.

As per the police report, a group of young individuals were enjoying some drinks at the bar on Sunday night when a disagreement arose between them and DJ Sandeep along with a few other staff members.

The argument turned into a physical altercation, but eventually settled down.

Unfortunately, the young individuals came back armed with rifles and pistols, and tragically, they began shooting and ended up taking the life of the DJ operator.

There were reports of rapid gunfire inside the bar, which understandably caused panic among the patrons.

The police have successfully identified the individuals responsible for the shooting incident.

The incident of violence has caused worry about the safety in the vicinity, prompting authorities to increase their efforts in catching the individuals responsible.
