Sahyog and Sanskar Bharati Organize Devotional Evening at Naga Temple with Music, Dance, and Poetry
An evening of devotion marked by performances, the Vijaya Milan Ceremony at Naga Temple was conducted efficiently by Sahyog and Sanskar Bharati.
JAMSHEDPUR – The air was thick with devotion as the annual Vijaya Milan Ceremony took center stage at the courtyard of the Naga Temple.
Jointly organized by multilingual literary group Sahyog and cultural organization Sanskar Bharati, the event saw an outpouring of talent and faith.
The venue, courtesy of the Vaishnav Devi Trust, became a platform for a harmonious blend of culture and spirituality.
The evening’s proceedings were kick-started with the blessings of Dr. Ragini Bhushan Ji, Patron of Sahyog and President of Sanskar Bharati, followed by good wishes from Vijaya.
Nilambar Choudhary and Nivedita entranced the audience with bhajans dedicated to Maa Bhagwati.
Garba dance performances by Sheela Kumari and Uma added a festive flair.
Bhojpuri bhajan artist Veena Pandey held the crowd spellbound with her rendition of "Bhavani Raur Bichhiya Runjhun Bajela."
Poetic contributions were also a highlight, with Purvi Ghosh reciting a Bengali poem titled "Anand" and Mamta Ahuja delivering a Hindi poem on the "Victory of Good over Evil."
Maithili songs by Mamta Karna and Sushmita Mishra expressed gratitude to Maa Durga.
Bengali bhajan by Rajendra Sah Raj and devotional dances by Chetna Jha and Aaradhya were among the other highlights.
Krishna Sinha and Rama Sharma also offered devotional bhajans to Maa Jagdambe.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Mrs. Vidya Tiwari, Secretary, Cooperation with Vaishnav Devi Trust.
