Gun Violence Continues Unabated in Jamshedpur, Now Firing in Hill View Colony Near MGM
Criminal activities in Jamshedpur appear to be on the rise, with the latest incident happening near the MGM police station.
JAMSHEDPUR – Criminal activity in Jamshedpur seems to remain unchecked at the moment as sporadic incidents of gun firing continue in different areas.
The most recent occurrence transpired near the MGM police station, where offenders fled after carrying out a shooting, following a fight involving young children.
The police have arrived at the scene and are looking into the situation.
On Saturday alone, shootings were reported near the police stations at Bagbera and Sonari. Now, the MGM police station area has become a hotspot for shooting incidents.
The recent shooting occurred late on Sunday night in the Hill View Colony neighbourhood, following a disagreement between young kids.
After committing the act, the culprits fled the scene.
DSP Patmada Sumit Kumar and Raju, the chief of the MGM police station, have started an investigation upon receiving the information. A hollow was also discovered at the scene.
According to Pawan Kumar Rai, his younger son was riding a bicycle next to a neighbour’s child, which led to an argument.
Following the dispute, the neighbour’s mother twisted his son’s hand.
The incident escalated when the woman’s husband demanded an explanation.
Within ten minutes, his older son was on the balcony and his younger son was cycling on the street when three youths arrived on a motorcycle and opened fire on his older son before fleeing.
