Security Personnel Detain One for Burglary in Sakchi, Second Suspect Escapes

Security forces in Sakchi caught one burglar attempting to target an abandoned apartment while his accomplice managed to escape. The incident has been reported to the police.

JAMSHEDPUR – Security personnel on patrol in Sakchi successfully apprehended a burglar who was trying to steal articles from abandoned apartments in the area. However, his accomplice managed to evade capture.

Upon the arrival of Sakchi police, the detained thief was transported to the police station for further investigation.

During interrogation, the burglar revealed his name to be R Bhuniya and mentioned that he is a resident of Chhayanagar, a neighbourhood near the Sitaramdera police station.

He further disclosed that he had a partner in crime, named Neelu, who was present at the scene of the attempted burglary but managed to escape when the security personnel arrived.

Security officer Ravi Roshan Singh, who was on the scene during the incident, stated that there are several vacant apartments in the neighbourhood that have become the targets of such burglars.

These individuals tend to rob items such as fans and other objects from these uninhabited spaces.

While on patrol with his team, Singh noticed the burglars entering one of the vacant apartments and attempting to steal a rod by breaking the window sill.

Even though one thief managed to escape, the stolen rod was recovered from him.
