41,769 Cases Resolved at National Lok Adalat in Palamu

₹47.14 Crore Settled Through 15 Benches Across District Courts

MEDININAGAR – The National Lok Adalat was successfully conducted on Saturday at the Palamu District Court premises under the directive of Jharkhand State Legal Services Authority (JHALSA). A total of 41,769 cases were resolved, resulting in a settlement amount of ₹47.14 crore.

Comprehensive Case Resolution

District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Secretary Arpit Srivastava informed that 15 benches were formed to ensure efficient resolution of cases. Thirteen benches operated at the Palamu District Court, while one each was set up at the Husainganj and Chhatarpur Sub-Divisional Courts.

In Husainganj, the proceedings were presided over by SDM Piyush Sinha and advocate Ramchandra Singh. At Chhatarpur, SDO Heera Kumar oversaw the case resolutions.

Breakdown of Cases Resolved

Out of the total, 38,242 pre-litigation cases and 3,578 pending court cases were settled during the National Lok Adalat.

The event witnessed the participation of several judicial officials, including:

  • Family Court Judge Sanjeev Kumar Das
  • DJ First Vinod Kumar Singh
  • DJ Second Akhilesh Kumar
  • Shankar Maharaj, Sweta Dhingra, Ayesha Khan, Ananda Singh
  • Sandeep Nishit Bara, Sanjay Singh Yadav, Arpit Srivastava, Ritu Kujur

Additionally, notable officials such as Rozalina Bara, Paramanand Upadhyay, Kamal Prakash, Amit Aakash, Pragesh Nigam, Sameera Khan, and LADC Chief Amitabh Chand Singh were present. Deputy Chief Santosh Kumar Pandey, Vir Vikram Vaksaray, and Pushkar Raj also contributed to the event’s success.

The National Lok Adalat demonstrated its effectiveness in delivering timely justice and settling financial disputes amicably. The proceedings enabled litigants to achieve resolutions without prolonged delays, ensuring access to justice for all participants.
