Judges Direct State To Identify And Deport Illegal Immigrants

Deputy Commissioners instructed to prepare coordinated action plan for the region.

RANCHI – The Jharkhand High Court has issued strict orders to the state government regarding Bangladeshi infiltrators in the Santhal Pargana region, demanding swift action to identify and deport them.

Justices Sujit Narayan Prasad and Arun Kumar Rai directed the government to address the issue of illegal immigrants promptly.

"The government must issue directives to all Deputy Commissioners in Santhal Pargana to prepare an action plan," the bench said.

The court emphasized the need for mutual coordination among districts to identify and repatriate Bangladeshi intruders.

This order comes amidst growing concerns about illegal immigration in the region.

"Deputy Commissioners should work together to implement a comprehensive strategy," a legal expert commented on the court’s directive.

The High Court’s intervention highlights the urgency of addressing the infiltration issue in Santhal Pargana.

State authorities are expected to develop a detailed plan in response to the court’s order.

This directive may lead to increased scrutiny of immigration status in the affected areas.

The court’s order underscores the legal and social implications of unchecked illegal immigration in Jharkhand.
