Kharsawan Police Thwart Business Robbery Attempt, Five Culprits Apprehended
Police arrived on the scene of a robbery in progress in Burudih, leading to the arrest of five perpetrators, and the seizure of stolen goods and weapons.
JAMSHEDPUR – On Thursday night, a team of Kharsawan police received word about a robbery at a business in Burudih, involving 15 to 20 criminals.
The team, led by Kharsawan PS OC Pintu Mahanta, arrived promptly on the scene.
Unfortunately, Constable Sikra Kujur was severely injured as the offenders retaliated by throwing stones at the law enforcement officers.
Despite this, the police were able to apprehend five of the criminals, while the rest managed to escape.
The arrested criminals were identified as Manoj Samad of Guiyadih, Lakhan Mundri alias Guddu, Madhilal Soy, Vijay Jamuda, and Shambhu Mahato of Nawadih.
Upon their arrest, the police confiscated copper materials, an electric saw, a sword, and iron angles in their possession.
The police team was comprised of Kharsawan PS OC Pintu Mahanta, Habibullah Ansari, Sikra Kujur, Hakim Ansari, Constable Sanjay Mahto, and Anis Anwar.
