Adhunik Power and Natural Resources Ltd Honored by State Govt for its Fight Against Tuberculosis
The Jharkhand Government recognized the outstanding contribution of Adhunik Power and Natural Resources Ltd in the battle against tuberculosis during the “State Summit on TB Free Workplace Policy and Corporate Partnership to End TB.”
JAMSHEDPUR – Adhunik Power and Natural Resources Limited, located in Padampur (Kandra) of Seraikela district, was awarded a citation and a trophy by the Government of Jharkhand.
The recognition was given for the company’s outstanding contribution to the fight against tuberculosis. The award was presented during the “State Summit on TB Free Workplace Policy and Corporate Partnership to End TB,” which was organized by the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Jharkhand at Project Bhawan Auditorium, Ranchi.
On July 12, the award was jointly presented by state Health Minister Banna Gupta and Minister of Labor and Employment Satyanand Bhokta. Sanjit Sinha, Adhunik Power’s Assistant General Manager for CSR, accepted the award on behalf of the company.
Arun Kumar Singh, Additional Chief Secretary, Health, highlighted that Jharkhand has become the first state in the country to introduce a TB workplace policy and engage companies in the fight to eradicate tuberculosis.
Sanjit Sinha highlighted Adhunik Power & Natural Resources Ltd.’s efforts to raise awareness about tuberculosis. As part of the Prime Minister’s TB-Free India campaign, the company provides nutritious food to tuberculosis patients in five villages: Dugdha, Jaspur, Rapcha, Dumra, and Kandra. The company also disseminates detailed information about tuberculosis to raise awareness and ensure patients receive proper treatment. The ultimate goal is to allow patients to live healthy lives and prevent the transmission of the disease.
