ZRUCC member Arun Joshi conducts inspection at Tatanagar station and calls for enhancement of passenger facilities.
JAMSHEDPUR – Arun Joshi, a South-East Railway ZRUCC member, paid a visit to Tatanagar station on Wednesday.
In his interaction with station director, Raghuvansh Kumar, railway employees, and passengers, he discussed the need for improved passenger amenities.
The visit, which included deputy superintendent, several staff members, and commercial inspector Anjani Rai of Tatanagar, was dedicated to inspecting the station’s facilities, including the restrooms and the catering system.
One of Joshi’s main suggestions to the railway authorities was the swift activation of the lift and escalator on platforms one and two at Tatanagar station.
Despite a ramp at the second entrance, he noted that the public still faced issues due to the lack of alighting facilities on the opposite side.
In addition, he recommended the construction of a shelter for the comfort of the passengers and proposed additional improvements to the train infrastructure at Tatanagar.
