JAMSHEDPUR – A vibrant cultural program at Sidhgora Town Hall marked the Swachhata Hi Seva 2024 campaign, featuring performances highlighting cleanliness awareness.
The event commenced with lamp lighting by chief guest Manish Kumar, Deputy Development Commissioner of East Singhbhum.
Krishna Kumar, Deputy Municipal Commissioner of Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC), also participated in the inaugural ceremony.
Artists from the renowned Natraj Kala Kendra Choga presented Chhau dance performances centered on cleanliness themes.
Moreover, students from KGBV’s Sohani and Komli groups showcased dance routines with cleanliness messages.
Meanwhile, the Rani Adventure Welfare Trust contributed a Bharatanatyam performance to the program.
Tata Steel UISL’s street play team enacted skits emphasizing the importance of cleanliness.
Dr. Alok Suman, Chief Manager of Tata Steel UISL, recited poetry highlighting various aspects of cleanliness.
In addition, sanitation workers from Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee and Tata Steel UISL received recognition from the officials.
Furthermore, mobile stickers were launched to promote the Swachhata Hi Seva 2024 campaign extensively.
The NULM team enhanced the venue’s ambiance with an exhibition and beautiful rangoli designs.
Deputy Development Commissioner Manish Kumar emphasized the campaign’s significance in creating a clean, healthy Jamshedpur and India.
On the other hand, Deputy Municipal Commissioner Krishna Kumar stressed that cleanliness is everyone’s responsibility.
