Students Honor Carmelite Order’s Patroness with Cultural Program

JAMSHEDPUR – Sacred Heart Convent School marked the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel with a devotional celebration on July 15, 2024, highlighting the Blessed Virgin Mary’s significance to the Carmelite Order.
Class nine students hosted the event, which began with a prayer service and dance to invoke divine blessings.
The cultural program showcased Mother Mary’s virtues, including humility, faith, obedience, and charity, through various performances.
Principal Sr. M. Steffi A.C. addressed the gathering, emphasizing Mary’s example of deep faith and surrender to God’s will.
The celebration aimed to reinforce Marian virtues among students, encouraging them to emulate Mary’s life of humility and obedience.
Prasheeta Saavarna and Nishtha compered the event, guiding attendees through the carefully curated program.
Students’ performances highlighted nine key virtues associated with the Blessed Virgin Mary, providing a comprehensive tribute.
The principal commended the students for their efforts in organizing a meaningful celebration of this important feast day.
The event concluded with the singing of the Carmel Anthem, uniting participants in a final act of devotion.
