Kerala Public School Kadma Pays Tributes to Late Music Instructor Swapan Tewary
A prayer meeting was held at Kerala Public School Kadma to honor the late Swapan Tewary, a beloved music teacher and a renowned musician in the city.
JAMSHEDPUR – In a heartfelt tribute to their late music instructor Swapan Tewary, Kerala Public School Kadma organized a prayer meeting on Tuesday.
Swapan Tewary, a respected musician and teacher at KPS Kadma, sadly passed away on June 25, 2023.
Tewary, loved by teachers and students alike, was remembered as a dedicated musician and a passionate teacher whose influence stretched far beyond the confines of the school.
His death is a great loss to all who were fortunate enough to have their lives touched by his work and his music.
The mourning school community, including Director Sharat Chandran, Academic Director Lakshmi R, Principal Sharmila Mukherjee, Headmistress Almelu Ravishankar, coordinators, teachers, support staff, and students, gathered to express their condolences.
During the Morning Assembly, a ‘Havan’ was conducted to honor the late instructor’s memory and pray for strength for his grieving family.

The prayer meeting in the evening was organized by the KPS Kadma administration and teachers to honor Tewary’s significant contributions and the best years he spent at Kerala Public School Kadma.
The meeting commenced with a multi-faith prayer led by the teachers in the presence of Tewary’s grieving family members.
In her address to the gathering, Principal Sharmila Mukherjee highlighted Tewary’s remarkable dedication, sincerity, and passion as a musician who always wore a smile, regardless of the circumstances.
Director Sharat Chandran’s tribute beautifully encapsulated Tewary’s profound impact and his noble aura within the institution.
The tribute included emotional renditions of ‘bhajans’ performed by renowned artists, with faculty and students alike expressing their heartfelt condolences and praying for the peace of the departed soul.
As the event concluded, all attendees offered flower petals in a final show of respect for the beloved Swapan Sir.
