Jamshedpur Factory Inspector Visits Tata Motors Plant Accident Site
Factory inspector Vineet Kumar Singh visits the site of the recent accident at Tata Motors plant and provides a preliminary report.
JAMSHEDPUR – Factory inspector Vineet Kumar Singh conducted an inspection of the accident site at the Tata Motors plant in Jamshedpur on Tuesday.
He subsequently submitted a preliminary report to the top authorities regarding the incident.
The factory inspector said that there will be further investigation and action according to the directives from the higher officials.
In his preliminary investigation, he found no evidence of brake failure or a collision between cars.
Singh believes the full details of the accident will emerge once the main eyewitness and Anil Kumar, who was injured in the incident, provide their statements.
It was revealed that Dynamech Engineer India Pvt. Ltd, an outsourcing firm for Tata Motors, had employed drivers with intermediate training to test the cars in the trial line.
The inspector also confirmed that the driver involved in the accident has not yet been granted bail, and his driving license is valid.
He has requested the company management to submit a report on any other incidents that may have occurred at the plant.
