Ramgarh’s Sadar Hospital Awarded Quality Certification Under NQAS Program
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has honored Ramgarh’s Sadar Hospital with a Quality Certification under the NQAS program for its superior services.
RAMGARH – Ramgarh’s Sadar Hospital has achieved a significant feat.
The hospital has been awarded a Quality Certification under the National Quality Assurance Standard (NQAS) program.
This prestigious recognition has been bestowed by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
Several departments in the hospital, including the labor room and the maternity OT, have been recognized for their high standards.
Thirteen departments of Sadar Hospital Ramgarh, including the OPD, Lab, NRC, Pharmacy, Maternity Ward, Radiology, Special New Born Care Unit, Blood Bank, Mortuary, and General Admin, scored 86% marks under the target program.
The Labor room of Ramgarh’s Sadar Hospital scored 92% and the maternity OT scored 90%.
Sadar Hospital Ramgarh is the only district hospital in Jharkhand to receive this certificate this year.
The certification remains valid for three years, after which it can be renewed.
The National Quality Assurance Standard (NQAS) for hospitals is assessed every year.
The assessment considers various elements such as the facilities’ improvements, expansions, sanitation, infection control practices, and patient feedback.
It also takes into account waste management and redressal of patients’ problems.
