ACB arrests Nimdih ASI for accepting bribe
Seraikela: A team of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) arrested an ASI posted at Nimdih police station accepting Rs. 2500 from a person. The team was being led by ACB DSP Jitendra Dubey.
According to information received, one person Nitesh Tiwary had a scuffle and stone-pelting dispute with his neighbour.
According to him, the ASI was asking for Rs. 5000 as bribe for mediating in the matter and was threatening him that if he did not pay up, he would be falsely implicated in a case.
Nitesh lodged a complaint with the ACB. The ACB found the complaint right and then arrested the concerned ASI in the process of accepting bribe.
