Red Cross National Merit Certificate: Bijay Kumar Singh of Jamshedpur to Receive Honours

Bijay Kumar Singh, Secretary of the East Singhbhum Chapter of the Indian Red Cross Society, is set to receive the Red Cross National Merit Certificate in acknowledgment of his outstanding contribution to community service.

JAMSHEDPUR – The tireless work and commitment of Bijay Kumar Singh in supporting the underprivileged in East Singhbhum have been recognized at the national level.

For nearly two decades, Singh has served as the Honorary Secretary of the East Singhbhum Branch of the Indian Red Cross Society, spearheading several efforts to provide relief during disasters and crises.

His immense contribution to the community has earned him a nomination for the Red Cross National Merit Certificate by the Governor of Jharkhand.

Further, the Central Government has taken note of the extensive humanitarian work undertaken by the East Singhbhum Branch of the Indian Red Cross Society, particularly their commendable response during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Red Cross National Merit Certificate is set to be conferred on Singh on July 17, 2023, at Rashtrapati Bhawan during a ceremony held by the Indian Red Cross Society.

Indian Red Cross Society East Singhbhum Chapter Hon. Secretary Bijay Kumar Singh has been awarded the Red Cross National Merit Certificate.
