An inspiring journey of a Sikh leader is hailed by Harivansh Singh, the Deputy Chairman of the Rajya Sabha, at Wednesday book launch in Jamshedpur.
JAMSHEDPUR – Harivansh Narayan Singh, the Deputy Chairman of the Rajya Sabha, on Wednesday unveiled the autobiography of Inder Singh Namdhari – ‘Ek Sikh Leader’.
Inder Singh Namdhari was the first Speaker of the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly and Speaker Pro Tem of the 15th Lok Sabha.
The book, according to Singh, serves as an inspiration for those seeking advancement in the political arena, illuminating the path to integrity and honesty.

Singh further mentioned that Namdhari’s vast legislative experience, spanning seven terms, imbues his book with profound insights and wisdom, akin to a string of pearls. The autobiography empowers its readers with new perspectives and the strength to persist through struggles. It brings forth the beauty of governance, administration, and democracy, narrating various instances of Namdhari’s personal trials, endeavours, and his love for literature.

Former MLA and BJP leader Kunal Sarangi reviewed the autobiography and highlighted Namdhari’s commendable representation of honesty.
Sarangi stated that the book is not just energizing but also leaves a lasting impact on its readers.
According to him, Namdhari broke the boundaries of caste and religion in politics, setting new standards.

Reflections on Jharkhand’s Formation
The creation of a separate Jharkhand state and the role played by Inder Singh Namdhari was recalled by former General Secretary of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and former MP Shailendra Mahato.
He also credited Namdhari for his contribution to the same.
