BJP Alleges Rajya Sabha Seat Deal in Jharkhand MLA Resignation
Marandi Accuses Hemant Soren of Political Deal for MLA’s Resignation
BJP’s Babulal Marandi claims Hemant Soren involved in a deal for an MLA’s resignation, hinting at future political shifts in Jharkhand.
RANCHI – BJP State President Babulal Marandi raised serious allegations against Chief Minister Hemant Soren, accusing him of engaging in widespread corruption.
Marandi highlighted the inaction against former SSP Sanjeev Kumar, who was recently promoted to DIG.
He criticized the state’s leadership for its selective enforcement of laws, especially regarding illegal coal trading in Dhanbad.
Marandi praised the new SSP of Dhanbad’s crackdown on illegal activities but emphasized the need for broader action.
Discussing the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Marandi expressed confidence in the BJP’s preparedness for all constituencies.
He suggested that Hemant Soren might replicate Lalu Yadav’s strategy by appointing his wife as Chief Minister following his potential arrest.
Marandi stated that the resignation of MLA Sarfaraz Ahmed from Gandeya was part of a deal with Hemant Soren for a Rajya Sabha seat.
The BJP leader claimed this deal was being widely discussed across Jharkhand.
He also commented on Prime Minister Modi’s anticipated visit to Jharkhand, noting that the media would be informed once details were confirmed.
Marandi was welcomed by party workers upon his arrival at the circuit house in Dhanbad.
