“Back to School Campaign 2023” District Workshop Aims for 100% Enrollment

The "Back to School Campaign 2023" workshop aims to enroll all children aged 6-18 in the district, focusing on inclusive education and full attendance.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Education Department organised a district-level workshop on the "Back to School Campaign 2023" at Andhra Association Auditorium, Kadma.

The campaign’s mission is to enroll all children, aged 6-18 years, in schools between June 16, 2023, to July 15, 2023.

District Education Officer, Smt. Nirmala Barelia, stated the primary objectives include 100% enrollment and attendance, data collection through household surveys, and ensuring special needs children’s education.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Mr. Jaideep Tigga highlighted the importance of physical and mental development activities like sports and yoga alongside academics.

He further added that successful teachers achieving 100% enrollment will be rewarded.

The workshop acknowledged that regular attendance and bringing children back to school are challenges that need collective effort.

Block-level workshops and school-level meetings are scheduled to ensure the campaign’s success.
