Bokaro Petrol Pump Money Evasion Foiled, Suspects Arrested

BOKARO – Three youths attempted a money evasion at a petrol pump in Bokaro Sector 4 but were apprehended after a violent struggle.
The incident occurred around 7:30 AM when three individuals arrived at the Jai Jawan Petrol Pump on a bike (license number JH9C 6455).
They demanded petrol, and employee Pappu provided them with ₹100 worth.
However, when the trio tried to flee without paying, Pappu quickly realized their intentions and grabbed their bike from behind.
One of the youths attacked Pappu with a knife, aiming for his abdomen.
Fortunately, Pappu managed to dodge the attack, sustaining an injury to his hand instead.
Despite being wounded, he held onto the bike, preventing their escape.
Meanwhile, other staff members arrived and helped capture the three youths.
Police were immediately notified, and officers from Sector 4 Police Station arrived at the scene, taking the suspects into custody.
The youths were later identified as residents of the Sector 1 slum, with one named Golu.
It was also discovered that they had recently assaulted another individual, Abhay Kumar, in Sector 1, robbing him of his wallet and mobile phone.
After this incident, they proceeded to the petrol pump, where they committed the knife attack.
