Jamshedpur’s Harshdeep Singh Bags Double Gold in State Shooting Contest

Harshdeep Singh, a young shooter from Jamshedpur, achieved an extraordinary feat by winning two gold medals at the state level shooting competition held in Ranchi.

JAMSHEDPUR – Local resident and talented marksman, Harshdeep Singh, brought the spotlight on Jamshedpur by clinching two gold medals in the recently held state-level shooting competition in Ranchi’s Khelgaon.

Singh’s impressive victory at the state championship from June 28 to July 1 has earned him significant recognition and accolades.

Bhagwan Singh, chief of the Central Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee (CGPC), lavished praise on the rising sports star, touting him as a beacon of the future. Bhagwan Singh extended his hearty congratulations and best wishes for Harshdeep’s promising career.

Singh’s noteworthy achievement included securing gold in the point-to-two open sight standing 25 meters event and the 10 meters standing air rifle peep sight category, underscoring his exceptional talent in the sport.

Furthermore, Bhagwan Singh announced that CGPC would soon honor the 20-year-old Sikh athlete, recognizing his exceptional contributions to the sport and the community.
