Lions Club Jamshedpur Centenary Advocates for Plantation and Sustainability on Doctor’s Day and CA Day
On Doctor’s Day and CA Day, Lions Club Jamshedpur Centenary emphasized the importance of plantation for a sustainable future and applauded the contributions of doctors and CAs in society.
JAMSHEDPUR – Members of the Lions Club Jamshedpur Centenary celebrated both Doctor’s Day and CA Day with an emphasis on the importance of tree plantation for a sustainable future.
The event was attended by Dr. Jharanand Das and Mr. Prakash Agarwal as chief guests.
Lion CA Vivek Chaudhary, Immediate Past District Governor of Lions Club, spoke highly of the roles of doctors and chartered accountants in society.
He stated that doctors, being healers, are considered the God of the earth, and chartered accountants contribute to national development by ensuring public tax compliance.
The Club’s President, Lion CA Siddharth Khandelwal, highlighted the rising levels of pollution and stressed that tree plantation is a crucial response to combat this issue.
In keeping with this, members of the Lions Club Jamshedpur Centenary planted several fruit tree saplings in DBMS School.
With the rallying cry of "Save Environment! Clean City, Green City!", the members encouraged tree planting as a way to promote environmental sustainability.
The club members also pledged to commit to environmental conservation.
The program was coordinated by Secretary Lion CA Vineet Mittal and attended by many club members, who actively participated in the initiative.
