Woman Found Unconscious in Dalma Foothills, Chandil Police Investigates

An unconscious middle-aged woman named Kamla, found in Dalma Terai with injuries. Police investigate potential foul play as brother and friends are missing.

JAMSHEDPUR – A middle-aged woman was found unconscious in Dalma Terai, under the jurisdiction of Chandil police station in Seraikela-Kharsawan district, on Thursday morning.

Upon discovering the woman, local residents alerted the police.

Responding swiftly, the police transported the woman to MGM Hospital for treatment.

The woman, still in an unconscious state, could not remember anything.

She identified herself as Kamla, a resident of Harharguttu Bada Talab, near Chandni Chowk in Bagbeda.

Kamla narrated that she had gone to the Dalma temple with her brother and his friends.

On the way back, she was allegedly assaulted by her brother’s friends, who subsequently abandoned her.

Post this event, her memories were unclear.

The police have tried to locate Kamla’s brother, but he is currently absconding.

Kamla was found with multiple injuries on her body, and her treatment is ongoing at MGM Hospital.

She recalled that everyone had been drinking at the Dalma valley before she was attacked and left unconscious.

The police are investigating the incident.

Following the event, all of Kamla’s companions, including her brother, are reportedly missing.
