JAMSHEDPUR – The situation in Jamshedpur’s Parsudih Makhdumpur Munshi locality is rapidly deteriorating.

Two calves have tragically died due to drowning in water as the area has become significantly waterlogged.

Each rainy season brings turmoil to this area as it becomes completely submerged.

Drain water infiltrates residences, damaging household items and endangering livestock.

This situation has led to the spread of several serious diseases among the local populace.

Despite the alarmingly deteriorating situation, there seems to be no immediate relief.

The area has been waterlogged for the past five days.

While people’s representatives have visited and provided assurances, residents see no tangible action on the ground.

The railway management has promised swift action to clean the drains and smoothen the drainage system to expedite water removal.

However, residents see no such efforts.

Ward member Ritika Srivastava stated that the drainage route is on the railway land.

It falls upon the railway management to maintain it regularly, ensuring local residents do not face such challenges.

The crisis looms over the area, disrupting daily routines, increasing disease risk, and resulting in animal deaths.

In such dire circumstances, the local populace is left with no alternative.
