Bakrid Preparations Underway in Jamshedpur: District Administration Assures Support

Preparations for Bakrid in Jamshedpur ramp up as the District Administration promises support and cooperation for a peaceful celebration.

JAMSHEDPUR – In anticipation of the upcoming Bakrid festival, a meeting between members of the District Administration and the Central Peace Committee was convened at Sidhgora Town Hall, where a genderal consensus was reached to celebrate the festival in a spirit of brotherhood.

Prior to every festival, the district administration, central peace committee, and organizing committees convene a meeting to ensure a joyful and peaceful celebration across the district.

In line with this tradition, and given the impending Bakrid festival, the district administration is on full alert.

The officials added that the administration is committed to providing any necessary assistance to community members.

At the Central Peace Committee meeting, led by the Dhalbhum Sub-Divisional Officer at Sidhgora Town Hall, the Muslim community members voiced their concerns about problems and civic issues in their localities during Bakrid.

They informed the district administration of the challenges they face.

The district administration assured that they would strive to resolve these issues as soon as possible.

The administration also urged everyone to celebrate the festival with enthusiasm, mutual harmony, and brotherhood.

The City SP and Rural SP were also present at the meeting.
