Raghubar Das Tours Ranchi Cancer Hospital, Urges Inclusion in CM’s Disease Scheme

Ex-Chief Minister Raghubar Das toured Ranchi Cancer Hospital, advocating for its inclusion in the CM’s incurable disease scheme, enhancing accessibility of cancer care.

RANCHI – Former Chief Minister and National Vice President of BJP, Shri Raghubar Das, paid a visit to the Ranchi Cancer Hospital and Research Center today.

On the occasion of the completion of nine years of the Modi government’s service, a hospital tour was organized under the Vikas Teerth Abhiyan.

The Medical Director of the hospital, Dr. (Col.) Madan Mohan Pandey, gave a detailed briefing about the hospital.

Shri Das met with patients and their relatives and was informed about the state-of-the-art treatment facilities and affordable rates at the hospital.

The hospital, built on 7.5 acres at a cost of Rs 200 crore, offers radiology, chemotherapy and surgery facilities in its first phase.

A building for blood cancer and pediatric cancer treatment is planned for the next phase.

Plans are also underway to construct a Premashray for patient relatives under CCL’s CSR initiative.

Local individuals have been employed completely for third and fourth-grade jobs at the facility.

Shri Das referred to the cancer hospital as his dream project and expressed his pleasure at seeing it become a reality.

He also urged the Additional Chief Secretary of the state, Mr. Arun Kumar Singh, to include the hospital in the Chief Minister’s incurable disease scheme.
