Deputy Development Commissioner, Manish Kumar, meets with BDOs to review the progress and increase the efficiency of various development plans in Jamshedpur.

JAMSHEDPUR – Deputy Development Commissioner Mr. Manish Kumar conducted a review meeting with all Block Development Officers (BDOs) in the District Auditorium.

He examined the status of the development schemes implemented in the block areas and emphasized the need to accelerate these plans.

He directed that in the review of MNREGA, at least 7-8 schemes should be run in each village instead of the minimum five.

He stressed the importance of MNREGA schemes in strengthening the rural economy and generating employment. He further urged for a 20 percent increase in the creation of man-days and for more women laborers to be included.

In a review of the housing scheme, he set a target to complete the construction of 67 houses within the next week.

The progress of the schemes will be presented every Thursday by the concerned BDO, with next week’s review scheduled for Potka and Dumaria.

Further instructions were given to prioritize running water in all Anganwadi centers and government schools from the 15th Finance, and to verify schemes under the Jal Chhajan Mission only after receiving the geotag photo.
