Birsanagar Police Busts Major Mobile Thief Gang, Arrests Three

Birsanagar police arrests three members of a notorious mobile theft gang, seizing 21 high-end smartphones in Jamshedpur.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Birsanagar police in Jamshedpur has achieved significant success in curbing crime with the arrest of three members from a notorious mobile theft gang and the seizure of 21 high-end mobile phones.

The arrests were made after police received several reports of mobile thefts within the Birsanagar police station jurisdiction.

During a press conference, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), Mukesh Kumar informed that the operation was based on confidential information received by the police, following which a raid was carried out.

The team’s swift action resulted in the arrest of the thieves and the recovery of 21 expensive stolen mobile phones.

He emphasized that the gang targeted high-end mobile phones in the area.

The apprehended individuals have been sent to judicial custody.

Mr. Kumar assured that this operation had successfully dismantled the mobile theft gang, potentially preventing further thefts in the area.
