Jamshedpur police arrest suspect in school theft, recover stolen electronics

Birsanagar police’s swift action leads to the recovery of stolen items from a local school.

JAMSHEDPUR – In a notable breakthrough, the Birsanagar police have resolved a theft case involving stolen electronics from a local school, culminating in the arrest of Vikas Das, a resident of Lower Path near Birsanagar Srishti Garden.

Following a complaint by Ankita Mishra, director of Rock Ford Public School in Birsanagar Zone No. 3, regarding the theft of an amplifier after breaking three locks on March 21, the police launched an investigation.

The successful operation led by Birsanagar police station in-charge Nemdhari Rajak and Sub-inspector Pandu Samad resulted in the recovery of not only the amplifier but also a laptop, charger, three mice, and other electronics, indicating the theft spanned multiple locations.

The arrest of Vikas Das has brought relief to the affected parties and underscores the efficiency and dedication of the local law enforcement in addressing criminal activities and ensuring the safety and security of community assets.

This incident highlights the importance of prompt reporting and thorough investigative work in solving crimes and retrieving stolen property, reinforcing public trust in the police force.
