Social Worker’s Milestone 50th Blood Donation Marks Kiranmayee Jayanti Utsav

Shubhendu Mukherjee’s landmark 50th blood donation coincides with 10th Kiranmayee Jayanti Utsav, inspiring ongoing efforts towards voluntary and safe blood donation.

JAMSHEDPUR – In honor of the 10th Kiranmayee Jayanti Utsav, Shubhendu Mukherjee, a prominent social worker and Raktaveer warrior from Prateek Sangharsh Foundation (PSF), today, June 10, 2023, made his 50th voluntary and safe blood donation.

This donation marked his 18th single donor platelets (SDP) blood contribution. Mukherjee’s act also culminated in PSF’s 434th SDP blood donation, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to this critical healthcare service.

Following his donation, Mukherjee received accolades from the Jamshedpur Blood Center and Prateek Sangharsh Foundation, who presented him with a bouquet.

To further spur blood donation awareness, Shekhar Dey, a renowned social worker from Jamshedpur city, also gifted him a blood donor awareness t-shirt.

Among those present at this significant event were GM of Jamshedpur Blood Center, Sanjay Chowdhary, experienced doctors Dr. Rita Singh and Dr. Nirjala Jha, experienced technicians Dheeraj Kumar, Ravi Shankar Patro, Umashankar, Subhankar, along with PSF Director Arijit Sarkar, and Kumares Hazra.
