No Steel Express on Sunday: Train Service Disruptions Due to Works in Kharagpur Division

Due to developmental works in Kharagpur Division, several trains will be canceled or rescheduled from June 10 to June 12, 2023.

JAMSHEDPUR – Due to developmental works in the Kharagpur Division, the Howrah-Tatanagar-Howrah Steel Express Up and Down trains will be canceled on Sunday, June 11, 2023. On the other hand, Howrah-CKP/Bokaro Steel City Express Up and down will be canceled on Monday, June 12, 2023.

This action is in response to a Traffic-cum-Power Block for the fifth launch of the Foot Over Bridge-1 at Santragachi Station.

Consequently, several trains will be canceled, including the Bokaro Steel Howrah-Chakradharpur/Bokaro Steel City Express on June 12, and Howrah-Tatanagar-Howrah Steel Express on June 11.

In addition, the Ranchi-Bokaro Steel City Special and Bokaro Steel City-Ranchi Special will also be canceled on June 10 and June 12, respectively.

Furthermore, several trains have been rescheduled.

The Howrah-CSMT (Mumbai) Gitanjali Express, Howrah-CSMT (Mumbai) Mail, Howrah-Pune Azad Hind Express, and Howrah-Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal, Bengaluru Duranto Express have all been given new departure times.

Additionally, the Adra-Howrah Shiromoni Express, scheduled for June 11, will be short terminated at Kharagpur.

The Howrah-Adra Shiromoni Express on the same day will be short originated from Kharagpur
