World Environment Day: Judge Promotes Greenery in Jamshedpur Court
Chief District Judge Anil Mishra plants saplings in Jamshedpur Court on World Environment Day, promotes annual planting of five trees per person.
JAMSHEDPUR – On the occasion of World Environment Day, Chief District Judge Anil Kumar Mishra led by example in Jamshedpur Court, as he planted saplings to promote a cleaner environment.
In his message, Mishra urged every individual to plant a minimum of five trees annually to contribute to a balanced environment.
The event took place within the court premises and saw the presence of District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Secretary Nitish Nilesh Sanga, along with other judicial officers and DLSA employees.
The occasion marked the symbolic green initiative as the Judge emphasized the importance of each person’s role in maintaining environmental balance.
Following the planting ceremony, Judge Mishra flagged off an awareness mobile van as part of the ‘Man Ka Milan Pakhwada Abhiyan.
The van will travel to Patmada, spreading awareness about the environment and the role of community participation in preserving it.
The organizers said that it is important to send a clear message to the public about the importance of individual and collective action in environmental preservation, especially the significant impact that planting trees can have on the local and global environment.
