JAMSHDPUR – Gopal Krishna, Head of Market Function and Product at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) iON, highlighted the need for leadership adaptability and embracing positive changes in the rapidly evolving world at a CXO session organized by PGDM (GM) at XLRI.

Krishna explained how the global COVID-19 pandemic had accelerated the shift towards digital platforms and cited TCS iON’s commitment to the consumer in successfully conducting online recruitment and entrance examinations.

This move has established TCS iON as a pioneer in the field of digital exams.

He stressed the importance of distinguishing personal from professional life and the importance of strategic changes in alignment with the prevailing times.

The session began with an inaugural address by Kautilya Dubey of XLRI Jamshedpur, who welcomed Krishna and the GST members.

Krishna spoke at length about his career trajectory, the challenges he had faced, and how he had tactfully dealt with them.

Highlighting the importance of cross-functional learning, Krishna shared how it shapes managers into true leaders. He emphasized the importance of building a comprehensive ecosystem, prioritizing customer satisfaction, and fostering synergy among stakeholders.

The session concluded with Krishna addressing student queries about strategy, product management, and leadership.

He wished the XLRI PGDM (GM) students a prosperous learning year and successful careers ahead.
