PSF Marks 100th Kiranmayi Jayanti Utsav with 431st SDP Blood Donation
PSF celebrates the 100th Kiranmayi Jayanti Utsav by achieving the milestone of 431 voluntary SDP blood donations, led by PSF warrior Ajit Lohar.
JAMSHEDPUR – Prateek Sangharsh Foundation (PSF) commemorated the year-long activities of the 100th Kiranmayi Jayanti Utsav today with a significant accomplishment in voluntary blood donation.
PSF warrior and Sonari Kagalnagar resident, Ajit Lohar, completed his seventh voluntary blood donation today, marking the milestone of 431 single donor platelets (SDP) blood donations facilitated by PSF.
The blood donation drive witnessed immense spirit and enthusiasm among donors, embodying their commitment to serving humanity.
‘Even if it is his thinking, ideology, always being ready to serve the suffering humanity, this is also ingrained in him,’ a PSF representative said about Lohar.
Post-donation, Lohar was honored with a citation from the Jamshedpur Blood Center and PSF. Additionally, he received a blood donation awareness T-shirt and a symbol from local businessman Shekhar Dey Mahashay, who was present to promote SDP blood donation awareness.
Also present were Jamshedpur Blood Center’s experienced doctor Dr. Luv Bahadur Singh, experienced technician Anup Kumar Srivastava, Ravi Shankar, Arijit Sarkar, director of the Prateek Sangharsh Foundation, and Kumares Hazra and Shekhar from Rotaract.
