Manish Bhardwaj Gets 114th Rank in UPSC Exams, Uplifts Jamshedpur’s Pride

Manish Bhardwaj of Jamshedpur shines in UPSC exam, secures 114th rank, fostering pride and joy in his home city.

JAMSHEDPUR – Manish Bhardwaj, a Jamshedpur native, has made the steel city proud by securing the 114th rank in the country’s most esteemed Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examination.

His parents, Laxman Singh, a retired senior foreman of Jusco, and Kanti Sinha, a retired headmistress of Bagunhatu Sarna Middle School, were overjoyed at their son’s achievement, sparking a wave of jubilation in Vijaya Garden.

Bhardwaj, a determined young man, has journeyed long to reach this point.

He completed his 10th grade from St. Mary’s Bistupur, followed by 12th grade from DAV Bistupur.

He then pursued an engineering degree in Electronics Communication from RNSIT College, Bangalore, leading him to work in Boss Company.

But his aspiration to serve the public led him to join the Railways as a commercial inspector at Dhamra Port in Odisha.

In 2019, Bhardwaj cleared the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) examination.

After securing the 16th rank, he was appointed as Senior Deputy Collector in Hajipur.

His recent accomplishment in the UPSC exam has brought further prestige to his illustrious career.

Manish, the youngest of four siblings, comes from a family of achievers.

Both his sisters, Ranjana Singh and Archana Singh, work overseas, in Luxembourg and Canada respectively.

His elder brother, Tarakeshwar Bhardwaj, serves as an auditor in the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).

Manish’s commendable achievement in the UPSC exam marks another high point in his family’s legacy of public service, instilling pride in his community and serving as an inspiration for young aspirants in Jamshedpur.
