Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy ready to take DNA test & furnish financial returns in response to allegations by Congress leader Anand Bihari Dubey.

Jamshedpur: The ongoing war of words between Jamshedpur East MLA and BJM founder Saryu Roy and East Singhbhum District Congress President Anand Bihari Dubey has escalated sharply and is fast threatening to balloon into a dirty political slugfest.

In the latest development, Roy has written a letter to Dubey, offering to undergo a DNA test and share his financial returns in response to allegations made against him by the latter.

The controversy relates with a viral video on social media, followed by a flurry of accusations and counter-accusations involving State Health Minister Banna Gupta, Saryu Roy, and Anand Bihari Dubey..

In a press conference on Tuesday, Dubey questioned Roy’s relationship with a woman allegedly seen with him during Ramarcha Puja and his financial transactions with an organization.

In his letter, Roy addresses the allegations, stating that they are serious and requests a signed copy of Dubey’s statement to answer the accusations point by point.

Roy also offers to provide complete details of transactions from his bank account, his financial statements filed with the Income Tax Department, and information about his property.

Roy’s letter asks Dubey to provide a signed copy of his press statement from the previous day, suggesting that Dubey must have obtained consent from his party’s state and national high command before issuing the statement.

Anand Bihari Dubey has not yet responded to the letter, but the situation is expected to further develop into a political slugfest as both sides continue to trade accusations.
