JAMSHEDPUR – The sixth anniversary of the Ram Temple at Sidhgora’s Surya Dham concluded with 5,100 lamps, fireworks and a massive community feast attended by thousands.

The grand celebration unfolded at the Surya Mandir complex in Sidhgora. Devotees gathered in large numbers since morning.

Earlier, priests conducted rituals with Vedic chants. Subsequently, a complete recitation of Sundarkand was performed.

Former Chief Minister Raghubar Das joined the ceremonial worship. He also lit lamps inside the Ram Temple.

As dusk approached, rows of diyas glowed brightly. Moreover, the temple complex shimmered under decorative lighting.

For a moment, the surroundings resembled Diwali festivities. Meanwhile, women crafted rangoli designs across the premises.

They arranged illuminated lamps forming “Jai Shri Ram.” In addition, floral decorations enhanced the festive setting.

Throughout the day, devotees queued for darshan. However, the main attraction remained the evening Maha Aarti.

Jamshedpur East MLA Purnima Sahu participated in the aarti. She prayed for peace and prosperity of city residents.

Four-Day Ritual Concludes With Feast

The anniversary coincided with ceremonies linked to Shivling consecration. It also marked the Garuda pillar स्थापना remembrance.

The four-day religious programme concluded on Saturday night. However, the finale featured a massive Mahabhandara.

Temple authorities arranged separate sections for men and women. This was done considering the swelling crowd.

The feast began at 6 pm. It continued until late night hours.

According to organisers, over 5,000 devotees received prasad. Volunteers managed orderly distribution across counters.

Speaking on the occasion, Raghubar Das said India remained spiritually rooted. He praised the devotion of Jamshedpur residents.

He stated that Surya Dham symbolised faith and unity. He also thanked BJP workers and volunteers.

Meanwhile, committee patron Chandragupt Singh addressed the gathering. He highlighted growing religious awareness in society.

He expressed gratitude toward devotees and organisers. Moreover, he urged continued public participation.

Committee president Bhupendra Singh lauded collective efforts. He said the grandeur reflected dedication of Ram devotees.

He added that the committee would uphold social responsibilities. Religious and community duties would continue together.

Notably, the temple has hosted earlier events like Surya Mandir anniversary celebrations. In addition, preparations were earlier detailed in Ram Darbar anniversary plans.

Similarly, large-scale devotion was witnessed during Ram Utsav festivities. The complex had also drawn attention during the 11,000 diyas event.

Furthermore, Chhath arrangements were earlier managed as reported in Chhath gate opening updates.
