Legislator Pledges Swift Action On Drainage And Power Issues

The Jamshedpur East representative distributed pension forms and extended invitations to upcoming religious event.

JAMSHEDPUR – MLA Saryu Roy of Jamshedpur East conducted an evening visit to Azad Market on Monday, engaging directly with local traders and residents to address their concerns.

"We’re committed to resolving the drainage issues and power cuts affecting this area," Roy stated during his interaction with community members.

The inadequate rainwater drainage system emerged as a primary concern, with locals demanding the construction of a proper drainage network.

Roy assured prompt attention to the frequent power cuts reported by market traders and nearby residents.

"Our team will work closely with relevant departments to implement lasting solutions," the MLA promised.

During his visit, Roy distributed old age pension forms to eligible individuals in the community.

The legislator also extended invitations to the Sri Laxminarayan Prana Pratishtha Mahayagya, scheduled from July 3rd to 7th in Cable Town.

Indrajit Singh, Roy’s industrial representative, and Telco Mandal Chairman Mahesh Tiwari accompanied the MLA during the visit.

MLA representative Abhay Singh and community leaders Ram Bilas Singh, Sudhir Singh, and Kanhaiya Kumar were also present.

Market Committee representatives, including Shrikant Rai and Pawan Singh, participated in the discussions with Roy.

This visit underscores the MLA’s efforts to maintain direct communication with his constituents and address local issues promptly.
