AISSF celebrates 77th Foundation Day, reiterates support to farmer agitation

All India Sikh Students Federation celebrated 77th Foundation Day at Sakchi Gurdwara Sahib. The Federation leaders reiterated their support to the ongoing farmers’ agitation in Delhi.

Jamshedpur: All India Sikh Students Federation (AISSF) celebrated 77th Foundation Day at Sakchi Gurdwara Sahib. The Federation leaders reiterated their support to the ongoing farmers’ agitation in Delhi.

On Monday, the programme started with Shabad singing by a Ragi group. After that, the members of the Federation offered prayers in front of Sri Guru Granth Sahib for the success of the agitation to get the three agricultural laws abolished.

Tributes were also paid to about 800 farmers who lost their lives during the agitation.

Astik Mahto, central secretary of JMM was the chief guest.

All India Sikh Students Federation‘s Satnam Singh Gambhir, Inder Singh Inder, Amarjit Singh Bhamra felicitated the chief guest Aastik Mahato by offering him a shawl.

In his addresss, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha Central Secretary Astik Mahto said that they will walk shoulder to shoulder in the farmers’ movement.

When Satnam Singh Gambhir said that the Commission formed to enquire into Anti-Sikh Riots did not work properly, he said that he would raise this issue before the Chief Minister Hemant Soren and would ensure that the justice is brought to the victim families as soon as possible.

The Eastern India President of the Federation, Satnam Singh Gambhir said that the support of the Federation to the farmers’ movement.

Parvinder Singh Bhatia, Harjit Singh, Avtar Singh, Parvinder Singh, Avinash Singh, Davinder Singh, Amarjit Singh Bhamra, Sarabjit Singh, Inder Singh Inder, Gurvinder Singh Sindhu, Mohinderpal Singh, Kuldeep Singh, Gurdeep Singh Kaka, Paramjit Singh Kale, Balkar Singh and Hardayal Singh were also felicitated on the occasion.

Amarjit Singh Bhamra and Paramjit Singh Kale conducted the entire programme.

The vote of thanks was proposed by Inder Singh Inder.
