Sambhav and Bharat Singh Welfare Trust Adopt 10 TB Patients, Provide 8 Months of Rations and Nutritious Food

Sambhav & Bharat Singh Welfare Trust have adopted 10 TB patients, providing 8 months of rations and nutritious food to support India’s TB-free mission.

Jamshedpur – In line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s goal of making India TB-free by 2025, the social organization Sambhav and Bharat Singh Welfare Trust have taken a step forward to support this mission.

The two organizations have adopted 10 TB patients for one year, providing them with monthly rations and nutritious food to ensure their proper treatment.

Mrs. Sarika Singh, President of Sambhav Sanstha, shared that in September 2022, the two organizations decided to jointly adopt these patients, who are financially weak and struggling to receive proper treatment.

Sambhav and Bharat Singh Welfare Trust have taken responsibility for five patients each, covering their treatment costs and providing nutritious food for the last eight months.

Today, the organizations continued their support by distributing the eighth month’s ration and nutritious food to all 10 patients.

Present at the event were Bharat Singh, Chief Patron of the organization; Sarika Singh, President; and other members including Manju Singh, Pushpa Singh, Suchitra Rungta, and P. Pushpalata.

The two organizations said that this collaborative effort between Sambhav and Bharat Singh Welfare Trust demonstrates the commitment of local organizations to contribute to the national goal of eradicating tuberculosis in India.
