Active corona cases in Seraikela-Kharsawan district come down to 39

Seraikela: The number of active coronavirus cases in Seraikela-Kharsawan district has now dipped to 39 on Wednesday. It was 43 a few days back. The number of total deaths caused by the pandemic remains at 12 as no new deaths have been reported during the last few days.

According to official data, the district has tested a total of 1,64,021 samples till date. Out of these, 3,623 samples have tested positives while 1,58,908 samples have tested negative.

Even out of the positive tested patients, 3,572 have already been cured, while 12 have succumbed to the infection.

For now, the district has 39 active cases of corona infection.

On Wednesday, 782 samples have been collected. Till date, the test results of 1,633 samples are still awaited.

Seraikela-Kharsawan district has done well in containing the pandemic and keeping the death toll to 12. The fact that it has common borders with East Singhbhum, the worst-hit district in the state, and yet has managed to keep the death toll down highlights the efforts made by the district administration.
