Congress Holds Torchlight Protest in Jamshedpur Against Rahul Gandhi’s Disqualification, Modi Govt’s Policies
Dr. Ajoy Kumar joins protesters in accusing government of favoring corporate houses at expense of common people
Jamshedpur: The Jharkhand Pradesh Asangathit Kamgar Evam Karmachari Congress organized a torchlight procession in Jamshedpur on Sunday to express opposition to Rahul Gandhi’s disqualification from Parliament membership. The protest procession started from Bhalubasa Golchakkar to Sakchi Golchakkar, where it changed into a Nukkad Sabha.
Dr. Ajoy Kumar, Ex-MP of Jamshedpur and a prominent member of the Congress party, joined the procession too
The demonstration was a part of the nationwide Congress movement against the alleged wrong-doings of the union government.

The demonstrators shouted anti-government slogans and said that the government was robbing the nation’s citizens while enriching corporations like Adani and Ambani.
They said that Rahul Gandhi, the president of the Congress party, was running a campaign against it, and the protestors claimed that actions were taken against him as part of a plot to silence him.
They went on to say that this action demonstrates the central government’s determination to sell the nation to corporate interests.
Speaking to the group, Dr. Ajoy Kumar stressed that the Congress party will not put up with the national government’s activities.
Moreover, he exhorted the public to join the movement opposing government policies that are detrimental to the interests of the average citizen.

Around the country, the Congress party is trying to strongly oppose the Modi government.
Further demonstrations are anticipated in the upcoming days as the Congress opposition against the measures of the central government gathers strength nationwide.
