Youth Injured In Knife Attack In Jugsalai Area

Jamshedpur: A youth, who works as an AC mechanic, was attacked with knife and sticks in Jugsalai Naya Basti area and was seriously injured.

The incident of knife-wielding has come to light in Purani Basti area under Jugsalai police station of Jamshedpur. A youth working as an AC mechanic has been injured in this incident.

According to the information, two youths named Mohammad K and Mohammad M seriously injured a youth named Mohammad Shahbaz by stabbing them.

The relatives admitted the injured youth to MGM Hospital where he is undergoing treatment.

According to the injured youth Mohammad Shahbaz, he was at home in the morning, when a young man came along with a classmate of his school and called him and took him behind his house.

According to him, in the presence of a girl already present at that place, Mohd K and Mohd M first beat him up with a stick and then at the behest of the girl, injured him with a knife.

On getting the information the relatives reached the site and the youth was admitted to MGM Hospital where he is undergoing treatment.

The police are investigating the incident. No arrests have been made yet.
