Argentina vs Croatia on 14th, France to battle Morocco on 15th in semi-finals

There are 4 teams remaining from the 32-team Qatar World Cup. After 60 matches of the World Cup group stage, last sixteen and quarter finals, it is now the turn of the semi finals.

Two teams from Europe, one from the Latin region and one from Africa made it to the top four. Favorite teams like Brazil, Belgium, Spain and England have already been eliminated from the World Cup.

In the last quarter-final, the current world champion France has reached the semi-final as the fourth team after defeating the former world champion England 2-1.

Earlier, Croatia secured the semi-final as the first team by defeating Brazil 4-2 in the tiebreaker in the first quarter-final.

On the same night, Argentina defeated the Netherlands 4-3 in a tiebreaker to become the second team to advance to the semis. Morocco beat Portugal 1-0 in the third quarter last night to become the first African country to reach the semi-finals.

The month-long World Cup schedule has reached its final stage. Last season’s runners-up Croatia will face Lionel Messi’s Argentina in the first semi-final on December 13. The next day, on December 15, Morocco will face the current champion France. Both the matches will start at 1 am Bangladesh time.

December 14: Argentina vs Croatia, 1pm, Lucille Stadium

December 15: France v Morocco, 1pm, Al Bayat Stadium.
