Jamshedpur celebrates Eid with joy and enthusiasm

People exchange greetings on streets and in mohallas as people celebrate conclusion of Ramzan month.

Jamshedpur: After a month of ramzan fasting, Eid, one of the most important festivals of the Muslim community, is being celebrated all over the country.

Eid is also being celebrated in Jamshedpur on a grand scale with joy by the people of Muslim community.

In the morning, Eid prayers were offered in all the major Idgahs of the city, after which people hugged each other and exchanged greetings for Eid.

There was a lot of enthusiasm seen over Eid among children.

In view of Eid, security forces were deployed in the entire city and tight security arrangements were made.

No Entry for heavy vehicles was imposed by the administration in the city in view of Eid. The entry of heavy vehicles has been kept barred till 1 o’clock in the day.

Eid-ul-Fitr is one of the most important festivals for the muslim community as it marks the end of Ramazan, the holy month of fasting.

Happy groups of people were seen exchanging greetings and pleasantries on the streets and in different mohallas.
