Laptop, mobile, valuables stolen from Sakchi house

Jamshedpur: Unidentified thieves entered the house of one Jamil Ahmad and decamped with a laptop, a mobile and valuables worth Rs. 1.5 lakh Friday night.

Jameel Ahmed, a resident of L4/9 near Ramlila Maidan under Sakchi police station, said that the thieves stole goods worth one and a half lakh from his house including a laptop, a mobile and some cash.

He said that he was studying late of 3rd September. When the alarm rang at 3 o’clock he fell asleep.

After waking up at 6 in the morning, he saw that the light of the courtyard was on and several articles were missing from his house including laptop, mobile and purse.

He said that the thieves also took away a collection of old coins kept in the cupboard.
