Tata Steel Urban Services organise cross country race on JRD Tata’s birth anniversary

Jamshedpur: Tata Steel Urban Services organised a cross country race on the occasion of JRD Tata’s 117th birth anniversary on Thursday.

The race was organised at LIC Ground, Kadma.

In all, 120 participants of under-20 category participated in this race. The 3 km run was organised for female participants and the 5 km for male participants.

In the midst of heavy rain, the participants took part in the race by bowing to JRD Tata. Giving information, Rupali Hembram the manager of Tata Steel Urban Services said that on behalf of Tata Steel Urban Services, tribute was paid on the birthday of Bharat Ratna JRD Tata on Thursday at Kadma LIC Ground.

During this event a cross country race was also organised for the students. 3 and 5 km races were held for students. The winning participants were honoured with prizes.
